"Kate is an exceptional buyer's agent and human being, and we were lucky to be able to work with her to buy our house (as remote + first-time homebuyers!) when the market was still pretty tough for buyers. We first found our home on a Friday during a trip to Ithaca while Kate was out of town. Kate drew up our offer while on the drive back to Ithaca, had it submitted by Saturday, and we had the offer accepted on Sunday (with no contingencies waived)! We did almost send in offers for other homes before this one, which were bad ideas in hindsight. We were able to hold off thanks to Kate's meticulous eye for detail and experience with the good and bad of homes and neighborhoods, which she was able to communicate really well over Facetime tours when we could not fly in for tours. After our offer was accepted, Kate connected us to the best home inspector and best attorneys, and we really felt like we had a home buying "team" watching out for us. This is especially important for first-time home buyers. Kate continues to connect us to great local service providers when we reach out. I can go on! Will end by saying I highly recommend Kate and hope more people are lucky to work with her."
